Safeguarding Supervision Training - Level 3 - 1 Day Training Course

Aim of the course:
Participants will understand various safeguarding practitioner roles and their responsibilities, why safeguarding people is important, key terms, how to respond to disclosures, the signs and symptoms of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, barriers to reporting, and how to report and refer concerns.
Who is this for?
Aimed at professionals who will be supervising and/or training supervisors for DSLs or Safeguarding Officer roles. The course is fully tailored to industry and respective guidance.

Unit 1 - The principles and purpose of safeguarding supervision
Unit 2- Good safeguarding supervision and effective practice
Unit 3- The components of a viable supervision contract
Unit 4- Developing supervisory skills
Unit 5- Addressing the impact of anxiety on supervision and decision making
Unit 6- Safeguarding supervision and training delivery skills.
